How was your Halloween? We had such a fun time dressing up in family costumes as The Royal Tenenbaums! I had just rewatched the movie again a few weeks ago and thought: Let’s make this happen. I already had the faux fur coat, so just needed to scoop up a few things. Here’s how to get a Margot Tenenbaum costume, plus where to get a Richie Tenenbaum costume and where to get an Adidas tracksuit for your dog to be Chas Tenenbaum too!

Striped polo dress
Faux fur coat
Loafers
Structured handbag
Blond wig
Fake cigarette
Pink gloves (remember to to hide your ring finger!)

As for Margot Tenenbaum’s signature eye makeup, I used:
