Just popping in to wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and to say thank you. Thank you for being a part of this community, for following along here on the blog, for your support, likes and comments here and on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. I am extremely grateful to get to do what I love for a living. And without you, that would not be possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
This year has been a doozy, with great highs and lows. I often think of the health stuff as being the low and things like this, this and this as the highs — giant gifts from the universe indeed. But in reality, as challenging as the health stuff has been, I’m grateful for all I’ve learned along the way, and have been able to share in hopes of it helping others. It’s created even more community, as I realize there are so many of us in a similar boat, and it pushes me to keep searching for answers so that we all may benefit. It’s also taught me true empathy, and allowed me to understand aspects of so many others on a deeper level. And for that, how could I not be grateful? Plus, the highs really are that much sweeter when you’ve been through the lows.
Of course, I’m extremely grateful for my family and friends. I had the amazing opportunity to have my sweet KayleeBug and my sister live with us in Beverly Hills for a few months at the beginning of this year and that time together was priceless. And I’m ever so grateful that Fred Baby’s family was able to spend Thanksgiving with us in our new home this year. I’ve also been blessed by amazing friendships, people who bring so much laughter and inspiration to my life. I’m so grateful for colleagues and the wonderful brands and companies I get to work with too. It really is a dream come true.
And of course, I’m grateful beyond words for my Fred Baby. He’s single-handedly kept me alive, fed (well-fed at that!), and feeling protected, loved, supported and not alone. With never a hint of a complaint either. I’m not a religious person, but I do find myself thanking God for him all the time and for putting him in my life. I’ve truly never met a better person. Plus, he makes me look a billion times better in pictures than I do in real life, and for that I am grateful. 😉
Sending much love and gratitude your way and wishes for a wonderful holiday season ahead xo.
