Happy May! It seems impossible that we’re already at May Day when it seems like New Years was just a few weeks ago. While I’m not keen on how quickly time seems to be zooming by, I am a big fan of spring and summer fashion. And what’s more of a spring and summer wardrobe staple than a pretty white dress? I’ve loved and worn so many over the years, as seen here, here and here. So, I wanted to round up some current favorite pretty white dresses, from romantic to classic and preppy and everything in between, in case you’re on the hunt.

In the top photos, I’m wearing a new-to-me brand called Eddy. While romantic and bohemian isn’t my typical style, I couldn’t resist this lovely floral lace dress called the Jocelyn Puff Sleeve Midi Dress. Isn’t it so…evocative?

I paired it with a straw hat, off-white espadrilles, scalloped sunnies and this Megan Molten x Garland Bags clutch.

Here, Sydne and are I are both wearing white frocks from my Buru x Kelly Golightly capsule clothing collection that I designed.

Clearly, these are more of my typical style (hello, I helped design them!). The first look is a preppy tennis-inspired white top and matching circle skirt that when worn together looks like a dress. The second look, worn so beautifully by Sydne, is a clean and classic white one-shoulder gown reminiscent of Jackie O. Tip: If you’re smaller on top and don’t love wearing a bra, you can pair this dress with this underneath.

How We Styled Our White Dresses for Summer

We both paired our white frocks with white sunnies: mine square white sunglasses, while Sydne went with classic white cat-eye sunglasses.

I upped the preppy tennis-inspired aesthetic with a green-and-white striped headband, pink-and-white bow earrings I designed for my Beth Ladd x Kelly Golightly accessories collection, and my absolute favorite shoe brand for comfy heels: Patricia Green. These are the Palm Beach platform sandals in gold (also available here). I LOVE these too and have them in multiple colors.
