We thawed out in Alpine yesterday, eagerly awaiting to hear if the power had come back on in Marfa yet. By 3pm it hadn’t, so we hit the road for San Antonio, but not before snapping a few pics in front of this pretty pink wall. It turns out Alpine has plenty of charms of its own.
Here’s what I wore to keep cozy in Texas…
Luckily I checked the weather the night before we left LA, which is when I discovered that we’d be in for the coldest week we’d felt since Paris in March (below freezing!). I realized that the only coat I had was the same one I wore in Marfa a few years ago so ran out and bought this one (love the lining) so the Marfa pics wouldn’t look the same as the ones two years ago. Little did I know they wouldn’t look the same anyway, but for very different reasons.
I got these new cigarette jeans from Citizens last week too and love how easy they are to wear with everything from heels and a pretty top to comfy suede booties and this New York Times tee I’ve been living in the past few months. Jeans and a tee? When in Texas…
What I’m Wearing:
New York Times Tshirt: Altru // Avedon Jeans: Citizens of Humanity c/o // Coat: Ted Baker // Suitcase: Napa Dori via The Little Market // Suede Booties: Sole Society (last season) // Sunglasses: Prada

Cute!
Love the lining, too! Sometimes the loveliest part of the garment is on the inside where the designer could show his/her true colors!
Sometimes the classics are the best… jeans and tee- always a winner!
