Have you shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yet? It’s a great time to shop fall favorites at a huge discount (often hundreds of dollars off). After the sale ends on August 8th, prices go back up. So, shop shop! Here are my favorites, including items on sale that I can’t resist like that grapefruit bag.

I love this pink shift dress you could wear now and later. And as mentioned, my life won’t be complete without that grapefruit bag. Ditto that on the parrot ring.

One of the best items to save big on are coats. I love this pink coat and this orange coat too.

I also have a trench coat nearly identical to this one that is one of the items in my closet that I wear the most. It goes on every trip (even to visit Audrey Hepburn’s home!). It now has a few stains (sniff, sniff) so I’m planning on scooping this one up as a replacement, which I like even more because of its complexion-flattering blush tone. And it’s only $139 (regularly $210). Also, how cozy does this wrap coat look? And this cape? Okay, maybe I am ready for fall. Damn you, Nordstrom sale!

If you have a hard time wrapping your head around fall because it’s 110 degrees outside, there are lots of home decor goodies and accessories, which make amazing gifts to stock up on now. I don’t know any of my friends who wouldn’t love these wine glasses or this decanter set.

Clearly, everyone needs a piano-shaped cheeseboard set. But seriously, this jewelry case would make a lovely gift, as would this marble board. We’re also due for new towels at the new casa and while I used to be a white towel-only kind of girl, these ikat-print towels feel too Lilly Pulitzer to resist.

There are some great men’s finds too. Fred Baby, unlike moi, pretty much shops twice a year. And he hates it both times. So I’m going to do the dirty work for him and stock up on gingham shirts galore (my favorite thing to see him in). They’re so classic, preppy and cute. I’m getting him gingham shirts in pink (real men wear pink), light blue and navy.

The only question is classic fit or trim fit. Luckily Nordstrom has the best return policy — and free shipping + free returns — so I buy multiple sizes and send back what doesn’t work.

There’s even cute stuff for the minis too. I’m totally snagging this watermelon tee for my Buggy. I only wish they made it in adult sizes so we could match. Speaking of, remember this? My kate spade polka dot pajamas are on sale! Scoop them up here.
