Happy Friday! What’s shakin’? I’ve been having a hard time getting back into the swing of things, like blogging daily, but am trying not to beat myself up and just go with it. I find that stepping out of that routine is opening up more possibilities, which I’m grateful for and are much needed.
Color Me Happy
Yesterday I shot a fun video with Sydne which, while out of my daily comfort zone, is something I actually really enjoy, so I’m hoping to do more of this year. I think 2014 will be a year of growth and pushing past fears. After the shoot, Fred Baby and I skedaddled over to Palm Springs. He had been in Europe for a week, home for a day, and then back on the road to Arizona for the last week, so I’m so happy to have him back for a while. And a desert retreat was in order. I’m looking forward to a weekend of doing nothing and everything. It’s felt like it’s been months since we’ve been here, but apparently it’s only been three weeks. I guess that’s what happens when you’re in love with a place.
Will you be watching the Super Bowl? Here’s a roundup of my favorite Super Bowl recipes if you’d like some inspiration. I plan to make my mom’s chocolate fudge cake and get to work on planning our trip to Barcelona! Now that this vertigo business seems to be behind me, I’m getting really excited about traveling again.
Have a great weekend and here are some bright and happy finds that have me looking forward to spring and all its possibilities:
1. Tray 2. Paperweight 3. Pillow 4. Cheers tray 5. Napkins 6. Sunglasses
