Red Coat + J.Crew 25% Off Code

I’ve always loved a red coat. Nothing makes you feel quite as ladylike and pulled together, plus it’s so much fun to see a pop of color on a cold autumn day. Read on for the details + get a 25% off code to J.Crew

This red coat is by Desigual, a Spanish brand I first encountered on a trip to Barcelona. Desigual was also one of the most fun fashion shows of New York Fashion Week this season, with bright, punchy hues and models who actually, wait for it, smiled.

It was finally cool enough outside to wear a coat on a trip to Venice Beach the other night to preview the La Mer collections at Gjelina, and I felt a little like Little Red Riding Hood prancing around Abbott Kinney.

As for what’s under the coat, my go-to combo for fall has been a cashmere sweater worn over a dress. I wear this sweater every other day. A simple cashmere sweater is worth it. And this dress happens to be designed by my friend Shauna, who designs the line Penny Chic. It feels very DVF but will cost you less than $20. Seriously. Stock up!

While a wrap dress can be worn alone, I added a collared Trina Turk shirt underneath (on major sale!) and a cashmere sweater on top for a preppy look. Sadly this coat has already sold out but I’ve included a nearly identical option from J.Crew below + a 25% off coupon code, which you can use on the sweater as well!

Hey, very nice site. I came across this on Google, and I am stoked that I did. I will definitely be coming back here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table, but am just taking in as much info as I can at the moment. Thanks for sharing.
