I’m thrilled to share that our Home Tour is on Glitter Guide today! Behold Pied-a-Fred + Kelly Golightly, our Beverly Hills pied-a-terre. Click on through for some of my favorite photos + more details…

marfa584

Though we spend a good amount of time at Casa Golightly in Palm Springs, we keep an apartment in Beverly Hills for work and to see our friends who are under the age of 80. Here’s a glimpse at the living room and just beyond that a peek at my office/dining room. The pillows are from Lulu & Georgia and Caitlin Wilson. The Marfa print is by Gray Malin.

While it’s not huge by any means, it’s flooded with natural light and in an area of downtown Beverly Hills called The Golden Triangle, which I insisted on living in because — hello! — I love gold.

But seriously…we chose our place because you can walk to everything, and having relocated to LA after living in New York and San Francisco, that was important to us. Though maybe not so great for my waistline or wallet — Bouchon, Barney’s and Sprinkles are all spitting distance. The agony!

To get your bearings, here is the entryway. If you turn to the left and walk down the hall, there is Fred Baby’s office.

And then through that second coral door, the hallway leading to the bedroom and bathroom. And yes, that is a flamingo in my bedroom, thanks for asking! I couldn’t resist when I saw them at Urban Walls.

Here I am basically standing directly across from Fred Baby’s office.

fredbabysdesk584

Where he always keeps a bottle of Scotch and tulips on his desk. Along with a faux fur throw. THAT Fred Baby! Okay, perhaps that was only for the photo shoot. Artwork above is a photograph Fred Baby took in the poppy fields last year on my birthday {you can see + shop more of his photography here}. We just happened to have our peacock chair in the car at the time (scout’s honor), so voila! Never leave home without it.

entrytable584

Back to the entryway…we have a vanity/desk that is normally covered in mail but that I spiffed up for your eyes only, lest you think me a slob. The flamingo print is from Art.com.

flamingoart584

A glimpse from the sofa table behind the couch. I love that Audrey print, which I found on Etsy years ago but sadly is no longer available. The Kate Spade hat is a gift from sweet Helen and the lamp is a vintage find from Palm Springs.

kellygolightlybarcart584

If you’re back at the front door and make a right, that is where you’ll find the bar. And where you’ll find me 90% of the time. Okay maybe not but I can fantasize! My DIY genius friend Kristen transformed an IKEA changing table into that bar cart (see it here) and I styled it up. The mirror is a Lulu & Georgia find.

pinkumbrellas584

Behold my desk, aka where the magic happens, and where the Golighlty golden nuggets are dished out.

typewriter584

A few necessities: Nora, my vintage typewriter, and my flask bangle.

miamiart584

I like a white backdrop with pops of color (my walls + doors are Farrow & Ball All White No. 2005 + Black Blue No. 95 + No. 9811…more on that tomorrow!) and to surround myself with art that makes me smile.

graymalin584

This photo of Miami Pink Umbrellas is by my uber talented friend Gray Malin.

oranges584

He’s offering FREE framing this week only so it’s a good time to treat yourself

palmprintpillow584

Across from my desk is my lovely but lonely, neglected dining room that never gets used because I insist on eating directly in front of the TV. And though our coffee table actually lifts up to act as a tray, I insist on sitting on the floor like an animal. Quel beast!

tiffanyart584

But it would be a cheerful place to dine. The Audrey Hepurn art is from Art.com. I died over those Tiffany blue frames.

royalart584

The Royal Tennenbaums prints are from Etsy years ago. The pink chairs I found here.

flamingobedroom584

I’m getting sleepy… Let’s mosey on over to the bedroom, shall we? My bed is from here and the bedding is by Crane & Canopy. I like my bedding like I like the rest of my place, all white with a pop of color. So the coral trim had me at hello. More to come on our bedroom makeover this week!

The other pillows are by Caitlin Wilson. And the mingo decals are by Urban Walls. At first Fred Baby was like NO WAY LADY, but he’s warmed up to our feathered friends.

fredmoserart584

We found this vintage dresser at Past Perfect when we lived in San Francisco. I love all things black and white. The art is a photo Fred Baby took when we visited the Amalfi Coast last year (see more from his Italian Coast series here).

The palm leaf print is by Our Heiday via Lulu & Georgia.
