I know it’s Monday and today’s only the first day of July, but something tells me I’m not the only one having a hard time concentrating this week. Are you ready for the long Fourth of July weekend? I am! We’re heading to Texas to not only celebrate freedom, but to celebrate my darling niece’s seventh (seventh?!) birthday. She’s having two parties: a Scooby Doo-themed pool party with friends at my parents’ house on Saturday (how cute is that?) and then a family roller skating party on Monday (her actual birthday) at the skating rink. I can’t wait!
