How goes it, buttercups? Today I planned to attend a fun fashion blogger lunch, brainstorm questions for my Janie Bryant interview, meet my hubby for a stroll around the lake, and then dine with friends at Michael Voltaggio’s new restaurant Ink. It was going to be the best Friday ever (okay, slight exaggeration, but it was going to be pretty darn good). Instead, some vicious bug had other plans for our household.

I hope you will be ringing in October in much better health and spirits. My new plan involves devouring the latest issue of In Style and a non-stop rom-com marathon. And finishing my interview questions for Mad Men’s brilliant costume designer Janie Bryant.
