Have you seen the trailer for the upcoming film Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s, a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the iconic department store featuring Giorgio Armani, Manolo Blahnik, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Karl Lagerfeld, Isaac Mizrahi, Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen, Jason Wu and Joan Rivers?
I was invited to a screening in LA but wasn’t able to make it since we’re soaking up as much Palm Springs as possible before it hits 122 degrees and we can’t be here without melting. But, this trailer’s really piqued my interest and I can’t wait to see it when it comes out in theaters on May 3rd.

Looks interesting. From the preview its fascinating to see how the industry describes the importance of a store, but I think they are all being nostalgic. Bergdorf’s doesn’t have the same impact on a career as it used to. The future is elsewhere.
