Rainbow Caftans & BIG NEWS: We’re Moving! Can You Guess Where?

YOU’RE MOVING WHERE?!

I’ll cut to the chase.

I’m trading in my caftans for cowboy boots…

We’re moving — temporarily — to…

drum roll please….

AUSTIN!

SAY WHAT?! WHY?

Fred Baby is helping build out the Austin office of his company.

We’ll be there for 3-6 months.

We’ll be splitting our time between Palm Springs and Austin and while we’ll miss being in Palm Springs for our favorite time of year, we’re excited for the adventure!

It’s also very full-circle, as it’s where Fred Baby and I first met. In fact, his office is oddly close to the office we first met working in together.

WHEN?

Soon!

As in he’s already started in the role, so we just need to find a place to live and get ourselves there together.

But likely December 1 or January 1.

SPEAKING OF TIMING…

As you know, I am decorating my friend’s apartment so the timing couldn’t be better on that front. I can’t wait to share more of that with you soon!

Um, I guess I need to possibly furnish and decorate a place for us to live as well? Hmmm…

There are other reasons we’re excited too. In addition to getting to see old friends in Austin and meet new ones, my family lives in San Antonio which is just an hour or so away. I’m thrilled to see them more, especially my little Buggy who is 13 now!!

My childhood best friend also recently moved back to San Antonio from New York City, so it all feels like a full-circle moment of sorts. One we couldn’t say no to.

There’s another reason I’ll be sharing very soon in Part II of our big news.

But for now, we’re still digesting this part.

We’re moving to Austin!
