While battling a bummer of a cold this weekend that continues to linger, no doubt partially caused by those vicious dust storms that shut down I-10 on our roadtrip back from Marfa to Palm Springs, the sweetest idea by one of of my favorite bloggers, Joanna from A Cup of Jo, made me smile. A picnic club. She’s considering starting one and I think that just might be the best idea I’ve ever heard of. I love that it’s a great way to spend time with friends old and new, but doesn’t involve hosting a dinner party or dinner and drinks out (low cost, low stress, lots of fun!). Plus, you get to be outside to enjoy spring and summer’s fabulous weather and everyone brings something to share… What do you think? Do you love picnics too? Would you like to start or join a picnic club? I’m happy to head up the Palm Springs chapter!
