The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is such a big deal because it’s NEW fall items discounted now but only for a limited time (rather than last season’s items that haven’t sold yet).  When the sale ends on August 5th, prices go back up.

The sale launched today for Nordstrom cardholders but opens to the public on July 20th.

And because Nordstrom has such a generous return policy + free shipping, there’s no risk in buying extra and sending back what you don’t want. I ordered this coat in an XS and a S to make sure I get one that fits before it’s sold out, for instance.
