It’s been quite the week. Whether you feel like we just took a giant step backwards or you feel like you’re now being heard, I still believe at our core that we all fundamentally want the same things and feel fortunate to live in a country where there are so many people who care deeply and passionately about our country and its future, even if we differ on how to go about achieving the brightest future. And for that, I want to thank our veterans. Without your sacrifice, our voices wouldn’t be heard. Your selflessness and sacrifice is never forgotten.
