Happy Monday and Happy June, Golightlies! {Where did the first half of the year go?} Seeing how quickly time flies has me thinking a lot these days about legendary style and the things that last a lifetime…and beyond. Who has legendary style and what does it mean? Do you have it? Let’s kick off the week by talking about legendary style.
As time becomes more and more precious, I’m also becoming more and more focused on the things that I love and the people who inspire me. And one of my favorite ways to get inspired — and to gather all things inspiring to me — is Pinterest. Are you guys obsessed with it too?
In that vein, I’m thrilled to be collaborating and curating a Pinterest board on Legendary Style with 1stdibs, purveyors of all things extraordinary.
From photos of Audrey Hepburn to Dorothy Draper dressers, Kelly Wearstler lips, Slim Aarons prints and Birkin bags, these are the many things and people that make my heart race and stand the test of time when it comes to legendary style and design.
But I’d love to hear your thoughts: What do you think legendary style means? And who do you think has legendary style? Audrey Hepburn? Grace Kelly? Jackie O? Gwyneth? Do you aim to create a legendary style of your own?
Take a peek at my Legendary Style Pinterest board with 1stdibs here & follow me on Pinterest & follow 1stdibs on Pinterest.
And let me know what your Pinterest user name is in the comments so I can follow you, too. Together, let’s create some legendary style of our own.

It seems that Hollywood before the 70’s really embraced style and grace. I am not sure you can say the same about the current generation.
That said, maybe it’s only the stylish ones who passed the test of time. If so, it gives me some hope.
