I’ve long loved overalls and wore this pair non-stop as seen here, here and here. They can easily be dressed up or down and I even wore them when I met Rachel Zoe which was super fun BTW and to a blogger brunch at Chateau Marmont. #overallsforeverwhere So when I spotted these mustard corduroy overalls, I knew it was time to invest in a new pair. Here’s how I wore my new favorite overalls for a Sunday drive…

First, I have to say Odee is SO good in the car. We’ve tried to take frequent drives with her to get her used to the car and every time she’s been a perfect angel.
I mean, look at this love muffin, she even gives kisses!
If you’re wondering why Odee’s always in my outfit posts now, it’s because a) we don’t leave her alone yet and b) she still needs her last vaccine, so until she gets it, we’re pretty much homebound or carbound.
If she does get out of the car, I hold her so she doesn’t pick up any germs. She gets her last shot in about a week and we can’t wait to finally take her on walks and more adventures!
So, it’s not that she makes an adorable accessory (although, let’s face it, she does!).
I digress, back to these cute marigold overalls.
They’re super comfy and super cute. Here I dressed them down by pairing them with a simple white tee, tennies and a Panama hat.
Speaking of, when I’d first gotten dressed and walked outside to see Odee, I was wearing this hat. Before I came out she heard my voice and was all excited and jumped up in her play pen. But then when she saw me, she recoiled and had a little accident. I don’t think she knew who I was! The hat literally scared the piss outta her. Poor baby.
I laugh because the hat brand is called Hat Attack.
Luckily, after I showed it to her both on and off of me, she warmed right up.
Which is good because you know I love my hats, this one included!
While these overalls can easily be dressed down, they can just as easily be dressed up. I’ve already tried them on with pointy-toed heels and a pretty white lace top underneath, which would be perfect for Thanksgiving or a holiday party. Or, if you’re feeling va-va-voomy and can pull it off like this model here, you can wear them more like a jumpsuit without a shirt underneath. New Year’s Eve, perhaps? They also look cute with a slim sweater underneath, as seen here.
Sizing tip: These overalls fit true to size. I’m wearing a size 2 and am 5’4″.
