If there was ever a year to go all out for Halloween, this was it. After seeing Harry Styles live three times in one year (yes, we were deep in our Harry Era), it only felt right to pay tribute to our favorite pop star in the most over-the-top, fan-girly way possible. Enter: Carpool Karaoke: Harry Styles Edition.
Carpool Karaoke, But Make It Halloween
For Halloween this year, Fred Baby and I decided to recreate one of our favorite moments: when Harry joined James Corden for Carpool Karaoke. Fred Baby slipped into the role of James Corden, complete with the iconic gold lamé shirt, and I dressed as none other than Harry Styles himself — retro suit, pearl necklace, tattoos and all. It was the perfect blend of ridiculous and fabulous (a sweet spot I’m always aiming for).

Meet the Band: Kaylee & Odee Join the Tour
Of course, no Love On Tour tribute would be complete without Harry’s incredible band. Our niece Kaylee nailed it as Sarah Jones, Harry’s effortlessly cool drummer, rocking a jumpsuit that looked like it came straight off the stage — drumsticks in hand, naturally.
And because every band needs its guitarist, Odee — naturally — dressed as Mitch Rowland (who, fun fact, is Sarah’s real-life husband and Harry’s longtime collaborator). Tiny guitar included… can you even?!

Why We Went All In
When you’ve felt the magic of four Harry Styles concerts in a single year, dressing up as anyone but Harry for Halloween just feels wrong. This costume moment was our way of reliving the joy, energy, and pure fun of those nights — and of celebrating an era that brought us so much happiness.
We went to two consecutive shows in Los Angeles with Kaylee (our 16th birthday present to her), and then Fred Baby and I went to Harry’s concert in Palm Springs. Then, for my birthday, Fred Baby surprised me with tickets to Harry’s final show of the entire tour in Emilia-Romagna, Italy (near Modena and Bologna). It didn’t seem right not to bring Kaylee — who is fully responsible for our Harry indoctrination — so for her 17th birthday, we surprised her with a trip to Italy for the show. We were honored and excited to show her Europe for the very first time. Harry Styles has given us so many unforgettable memories.

Style Notes & Costume Tips ✨
-
Harry Styles costume: Think rainbow sequin suits, pearl necklaces, and playful accessories. More is more. I even hand-drew the tattoos on a men’s abs shirt.
-
James Corden: A shiny gold lamé shirt is the only choice for this Carpool Karaoke look. Bonus points for holding a fake steering wheel for photo ops.
-
Sarah the drummer: A cool jumpsuit with drumsticks in hand — and a cute ponytail as the perfect topper.
-
Mitch Rowland: Casual rocker vibes — a tee, skinny jeans, and a toy guitar complete the look.
Whether you’re a fellow Harrie searching for Harry Styles Halloween costume ideas or just love a good group costume, this one was a total hit — fun to plan, easy to pull off, and even better to wear.
Tell me: If you could dress up as any musician for Halloween, who would it be — Taylor Swift? Beyoncé? I’d love to know in the comments!
