Happy Birthday, Fred Baby!Â
Whoa. Where did the year go? They seem to be going faster and faster. It seems like just yesterday we were down under celebrating your birthday (wait, that didn’t sound quite right). We blinked and now we’re here in Palm Springs, via another late-night drive from LA, celebrating another year.
Here’s to savoring every last moment and to seeing what kind of adventures we can get ourselves into next (though I still maintain plenty of naps might be on the agenda). And Father Time, can you please slow your roll, just a little bit?
Fred Baby, I love you to the moon and back and am amazed every day at all that you do, all that you are, and all that you give to those around you, especially me.
Thank you for making Kelly Golightly possible, for being the only guy at the party (wait, maybe you should be thanking me for that on), for growing a beard even when it’s itchy, for always driving, for snapping stealth video and pics of Jon Hamm and not being mad when I upload them to Instagram, for walking red carpets and wearing all white when you’d rather be biking or sleeping, for knowing how to figure anything and everything out, for living up to those in sickness and in health vows, for snapping photos on the roof when it’s 110 degrees and when ice pellets are raining down on you, for being the family photog and tech support, for making me (and our lil nieces) laugh, keeping me warm, and for being my best Fred.
Now let’s ditch these computers and go eat some cake, shall we?
