Last night I took Lion Golightly, my favorite vintage sweater (that Fred Baby’s Austrian grandmother made his mother years ago and that was so very generously handed down to me) on a date in Beverly Hills. Here’s the scoop on my fringe sweater & where to find similar statement shoulder sweaters so you can get the look too!

Lion Golightly is always a hit — I mean how strange and awesome is this sweater? The ultra fab Beth Jones even gave me Best Dressed at a party last night, and by me we know she really meant my mane man, Lion Golightly.

GET THE LOOK: FRINGE SWEATERS

Many have asked where one could procure something similar and sadly aside from a sweater Kelly Wearstler made last year and sold out, I don’t have an answer, but I may just have to channel my inner DIY self to try to recreate something similar for those of you who need your own mane man. I mean talk about a shoulder you’d want to cry on! I’m now happy to report I’ve found some good options!

AFFORDABLE FAUX LEATHER SKIRTS

Since I was feeling so animalistic, I paired Lion Golightly with leopard-print pumps and a faux-leather skirt. But a statement shoulder sweater like this would be super cute with jeans too. Let the shoulders do the talking!
