Hello, hello! How was your Labor Day weekend? We ended up taking a last-minute 2500-mile road trip to drop off Sally Tomato in Denver for her makeover! It was pretty epic. We’ve done road trips across the US many times, but saw things we had never seen, including Seven Magic Mountains. Details + what I wore below!

Dressing the Rainbow at Seven Magic Mountains

If you’re not familiar, Seven Magic Mountains is a public land art installation by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, located 10 miles south of Las Vegas.

To be honest, even though it had been on my radar — and all over Instagram — since May 2016, I forgot that we were anywhere close to it until yesterday when we were driving and saw the sign for Seven Magic Mountains.

We were about 2300 miles into our 2500-mile adventure and excited to get home to our own bed, so contemplated not stopping. I’m SO glad we decided to stop!

Odee even woke up to take in the colorful site. 🙂

I love land art. From Prada Marfa to Desert X in Palm Springs, it’s always so fun to come across a surprise in the middle of the desert. Especially one as colorful as this!

Have you seen Seven Magic Mountains?

I happened to have this pink MDS Stripes dress with me (previously seen here) so tossed it on for a few photos. Ditto these Trina Turk rainbow sandals. They’re from a few years back, but I’ve linked more rainbow shoes I love below + this pink dress + more similar brightly hued frocks (love this one + it’s a steal)!
