Top Clean Beauty Faves

1) Saie Super Glowy Gel

This luminizer/primer makes you look dewy and sunkissed and it really woke up my face! This line is co-founded by fellow OG blogger & fellow Hashimoto’s sufferer/warrior Geri Hirsch of the blog Because I’m Addicted, whose advice I love and trust. Wear it alone or under (or mixed with) foundation or tinted SPF as a primer. OR over any look for a super glowy finish. I put it on before my BB Cream and then again after, focusing on the tops of my cheek bones and the center of my nose — where the sun would naturally kiss your face. I use the shade Starglow.

2) Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer

This has been a new favorite for months. Very hydrating & feels cooling too, which is great if you struggle with redness like I do (thanks to my very lovely battle with Perioral Dermatitis) or live somewhere hot like the desert. I wear it every morning, then apply my makeup — and I also wear it at night as my moisturizer. I love the whole Biossance line. It feels SO good.

3) Corpus Deodorant

I’m OBSESSED with the scent, intoxicated in fact. I had used regular deodorant for years, then stopped altogether when I had my Hashimoto’s health struggles & wanted to clean up my diet and everything I was putting on my skin. I used Native for a bit, which was fine but this… THIS is so yummy smelling — without being overly scented because I can’t do fragrance either. I use the No. Green fragrance. I couldn’t quite figure out what the scent was, but the closet I could come up with was that it smells like cloves. Turns out it’s a mix of bergamot, pink lemon, orange blossom, and cardamom.

4) Erborian BB Cream Tinted Moisturizer 

I discovered this tinted moisturizer with SPF from @meghandono of the blog Wit and Whimsy, whose beauty recs I also love and trust. I LOVE it. It’s the perfect light to medium coverage for those who hate wearing foundation but want “baby skin.” EDIT: This actually is NOT a clean beauty product but I love it.
