I’ve raved so much about HomeAway that I’m expecting a call any day now to be their spokesperson (anyone, anyone, Bueller? Bueller?). But Holly tipped me off to Caravan, which has me intrigued.

Described as a “craigslist for creatives,” fellow artists, media and creative types can swap homes or rent them for very affordable rates. If you’re a writer in New York, you can swap with an art director in Paris, for example.

I wouldn’t mind staying in this converted church in Melbourne for, oh, say, months on end.

Considering that creatives tend to have really cool spaces, I’m quite excited about this venture and hope that it takes off. You too? Would you swap or rent out your space?
