THE LOWDOWN ON THIS STRIPED DRESS

This dress is a rental from my Rent the Runway Unlimited subscription. I’ll be honest, I’m still back and forth and whether I love or hate RTR Unlimited. In general, it’s such a great eco-friendly option and, often wallet-friendly too. Plus, it let’s you change up your look constantly, which is really fun.

But this go-around, several of the pieces that came looked worse for wear, including this dress. Mind you, it looks super cute here in photos, but in person it just felt…worn.

That said, the dress itself is super cute, so I could have just gotten a bad one.

Fit Tip: I’m normally a size 2, but am wearing a 0 here and should have gone with the 2. I nearly passed out (how did women ever do corsets and NOT DIE?!). So I’d say the fit is TTS.

NOVELTY BAGS

It’s no secret that novelty bags are my jam. This swan pool float bag is from Kate Spade, but from a few years ago, so is sadly no longer available. But I’ve rounded up some more favorite novelty bags.

Insider Tip: The J.Crew kids section is a favorite source for cute novelty bags. How great is this cactus bag?

Not sure this counts as a novelty bag per se, but I love this wicker bag with a rope strap so much, I  just added it to my cart (it’s on major sale, normally $260 but now $78 at Moda Operandi).
