Big Boots & Watermelons

Greetings from San Antonio, Texas darlings! You know the saying “Everything’s bigger in Texas”? It’s true. Proof: these larger-than-life giant boots that reign in front of Northstar Mall in San Antonio. Every time we’re in town, we visit my dear friend Brandi (my BFF since the eighth grade!) who works at Chanel for Saks Fifth Avenue (funny how we both went into fashion, isn’t it?). This time, I couldn’t resist an impromtu photo shoot.

I wore a colorful, embroidered top I picked up in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I liked that it looked like a watermelon on top.

I paired it with these earrings, which I also got in Mexico. They’re big but made of reeds, which make them super light. I love them.

Inspired by Sweets and Hearts‘ Instagram pic, I painted watermelon nails too.
