My friend Sydne hates to be called cute, and where she prefers to be called sexy, I am much more comfortable with the cute moniker. (How about you?) So, when she invited me to a bebe blogger brunch she was hosting at Bouchon today (sneak peeks on Instagram), I thought that seems fitting. Sydne’s hot (she is from Miami, after all!); Bebe’s got hot-girl clothes. Well, I was half right.
It turns out…
bebe, like me, has evolved a lot since my college days when I frequented the stores. While they still have pieces for the woman who’s not afraid of sexy, they also have ladylike looks I was swooning over like this scalloped dress that’s so Breakfast at Tiffany’s I started humming Moon River. (That didn’t garner any strange looks or anything.) But, it was a good reminder to re-visit brands you once loved because they just may surprise you. I’ll be sure to share what I wore to the bebe blogger brunch soon, but in the meantime, if you enjoy towing the line between sweet and sexy, check out bebe’s spring collection.
p.s. They also have a really great deal going on right now (and the scalloped dress is on sale!): $25 off $100, $50 off $150, $150 off $400 with code BEFIRST at checkout. I’m tempted to get this coat for our trip to London and Paris…

Aww, so flattered. Thrilled you had fun yesterday. xoxo
I used to be a stylist at bebe and was so surprised that they made things other than sexy night dresses. I LOVE the scalloped dress so much, great find! I’m with Sydne, I think I’d rather not be called cute.
