Have you seen this new commercial featuring Audrey Hepburn? I can’t decide if I love it or hate it. I adore Audrey (clearly) and technically it’s impressive, but somehow I get the same feeling as cloning your pets — not that the inimitable Audrey Hepburn can be compared to a pet, but hopefully you know what I mean — good in theory, but kinda gives me the heebie jeebies in reality. I don’t know…
What do you think?

I love the commercial. It’s very true to the original Audrey and fun.
The key things that make it good for me:
– It’s set in the right period
– The story line is on-target-ish
– They got the mannerisms down.
If they set Audry in modern times, or changed her look, I don’t think I would like it. But in this case, I say well done.
I agree with all of Fred Baby’s points, and yet it’s not the mannerisms. It’s and odd je ne sais quoi, as if her shoes aren’t two sizes too big or something. It may just be the more modern equipment used… It just feels cheapened a bit -Albeit well done.
Love the commercial! It’s great to see Audrey reinvented!
