Sarah Jessica Parker and Bravo, master of the reality competition show genre (Project Runway, Top Chef) launch the new show Work of Art: The Next Great Artist tonight (Wednesday, 10/9C), pitting contemporary artists against each other for a chance to win a solo show at the Brooklyn Museum and a “generous cash prize.” I’m really looking forward to it — it’s not often you see artists supported in this way and I’m not sure artists are meant to create under pressure (but hey, designers and chefs are artists too), so it will be fun to see how it unfolds. Will you be watching?
