First things first: This is the dream house!

And I really want YOU to win. So you can invite me over, k? No, but seriously, how cool would it be if you won? Pinky swear if you do, you’ll invite the rest of us over.

Before we bought in Palm Springs, we debated buying in the Santa Barbara area. We love Montecito, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos and the whole Santa Barbara area and are always trying to convince Fred Baby’s parents to move there. A slightly cooler escape would certainly be a dream right about now.

The Dream Home is 6,100 square feet, has 3 bedrooms, 5 baths, 6 fireplaces, a gourmet chef’s kitchen, 2 Viking refrigerators, a guest house (dibs!), pool, Jacuzzi, cabana, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen, and of course, a huge walk-in closet.

Not to mention a staircase that reminds me of Barney’s!

Built in 2011, the Mediterranean-style home is situated within a gated community in Santa Barbara and is close to the beach and hiking and equestrian trails.

Know who lives in the Santa Barbara area? Oprah, that’s who!

I can see us sipping tea in the backyard now under a favorite tree…
