Seeing red.
Yesterday was a blur that consisted of me sleeping in my pajamas all day (I’ll spare you those pics), so today was a definite improvement as I moved from being under the weather to at least being able to look at it face to face (it was quite pretty I might add). I mustered all my might for a walk around the block and went by the philosophy that if you look better, you feel better. It kind of worked. For at least two blocks.

Keep it tights.
I ended up in exactly the same outfit I wore on Sunday, but changed up all of the accessories. I picked up these two-toned red-and-navy tights at Le Bon Marche in Paris and the scarf and cutoffs are both from Barcelona. Excuse me, Bathelona.

Ready for my close-up.
Boots are Tommy Hilfiger, a fab gift from my in-laws and the bag is Hayden-Harnett. Since today was the first day of autumn, plaid seemed especially apropos. Plaid and fall go together like Ben and Jerry, Ginger and Fred, chocolate and peanut butter. Mmmmm… Focus! Okay, then. The sparkly cuff is by jewelry designer and friend Kristen McCloud, who lives between New York and Rio (how dreamy is that?). This whole look is quite international I just realized. It may even need its own pasaporte.

Earry.
Vintage YSL pull earrings are by Erica Weiner, cardigan is J.Crew and blazer is Urban Outfitters. Fifteen minutes after these photos were snapped, I slipped right back into my pajamas for R&R (rest and remote — thank goodness for new fall TV!). What did you wear to usher in autumn, my dears?
