When in Rome, I discovered the thigh-hating yet tongue-loving delight of Cacio e Pepe (pasta with Pecorino Romano cheese and black pepper) and Spaghetti Carbonara (pasta with egg, cheese and bacon). Both meals are utter perfection and are wonderfully simple. And I can’t think of anything that could top them. Or, at least I couldn’t until I spotted Resto’s Hangover Pasta on NY Magazine’s food blog. It’s simply pasta with ham, Gruyere cheese and black pepper.
Doesn’t it make you want to go out and get a hangover just so you can justify eating it. Or is that just me?
Do you have a favorite comfort food?

I don’t have a hangover, but if I need to get one in order to have a Hangover Pasta, then sign me up. It looks fantastic!
Has anyone been to Resto in NYC? It looks great on the NY Times review, but only a 6 our of 10 in the user reviews makes me wonder.
