Super Bowl Sundaes

Darlings, did you have a nice weekend? We were really lucky and had another summery weekend, with Mexican food two nights in a row, followed by Super Bowl sundaes on Super Bowl Sunday! I foolishly thought this clever invention/play on words was mine all mine (in that same way that my sweet husband insists he invented “I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!”), until I started to tell the nice young man at Al Gelato “we’re making Super Bowl…” and he promptly finished my sentence with “sundaes.” It may have been my first time at the rodeo, but it certainly wasn’t his.

Not wholly original perhaps, but certainly delicious. I think a sundae (or banana split or milkshake) party would be a sweet, fun, low-key thing to do on Valentine’s Day with a husband, new boyfriend or best friend, don’t you? Toss in your favorite old movie and you have my version of the perfect night in.

Or, you could take silly photos. Either way. Just be sure to do something that makes you smile xx!
