Solace London for the Super Bloom

How was your weekend? The weather was glorious in Palm Springs and we made the most of it by getting out and exploring. Thanks to all of the rain this year, we are in for a wildflower SUPER BLOOM in California so we hit the road to see the first peeks of these sweet blooms. Here’s where you can see the SUPER BLOOM  + the dress I wore that would be perfect for a spring wedding or Easter.

SOLACE LONDON DRESS

First, let’s talk about this dress. It’s by a brand called Solace London. The architectural shape of the cocoon sleeves is what made me smitten.

While this lilac color has sold out, you can still get the dress in this pretty emerald green and in this lovely pastel blue hue.

FIT TIP: I ordered the dress in both a UK 6 and UK 8 and am wearing the 8 here and keeping the 8. I’m usually a size US 2. I’m 5’4 “without heels, about 5’7” in these Loeffler Randall slides that are the most comfy heels I’ve ever owned.

WHERE TO SEE THE SUPER BLOOM WILDFLOWERS

Now, let’s talk flowers! If you’d like to do some super bloom spotting of your own, we took these photos in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, which is about 1.5 hours from Palm Springs.

There you’ll find the beginnings of the super bloom, with beautiful swaths of purple flowers and yellow flowers. You can see more here. I’ll be sharing more in another post this week, but the best time to see the Super Bloom is in March and early April.
