There’s something about fall that always makes me lean towards preppy pieces. They’re classic, cozy, comfy and chic. Here, how you can put some prep in your step!

It doesn’t get much preppier than tweed and I love the colorway and fit of this tweed skirt. There’s a cute shift dress that I am eyeing in the same tweed.

Come fall, this navy cashmere sweater is always on repeat. Whether tied around my shoulders or worn over a button down with a popped collar, it’s the perfect layering piece and definitely adds that preppy East Coast charm.

I’m clearly on a navy kick because I just got a new pair of glasses in navy too. These are Ralph Lauren and I literally picked them out in a panic from Lens Crafters because my other pair was so scratched up I could barely see. These seem to be the same pair, even though they are men’s (hmmm…I guess I have a wide head?). There’s a similar navy pair here + here.

J.Crew, arbiters of prep, have so many drool-worthy pieces lately, including this enameled bangle. It sold out but there’s a lemon yellow elephant bangle version that’s on sale and now also in my shopping cart.

Speaking of favorite new accessories, I received this Ava bucket bag from Dagne Dover and I love it. Roomy and soft, it has great interior pockets to help keep you organized — and let’s face it, on that front I can use all the extra help that I can get.

If you’re literally looking to put some prep in your step, meet my favorite new flats. Who can resist blue suede shoes? Not Fred Baby, that’s who! Every time I wear these Delman loafers, Fred Baby tells me he loves them (who knew?). That makes me happy because the only shoes that typically elicit a response like that from him are heels. These are super comfortable, more like slippers.

Finally, when I saw this Drake’s for J.Crew pink bengal tiger print I couldn’t resist. I Ioved it so much (feels like pajamas) that I picked up the long silk scarf in the same print too. I also love this pink & green version. These earrings sold out but the necklace is still available, and I linked similar options below.
