THE DISH ON THE DRESS

I bought this coral pink gown as an option for a magazine shoot we were doing. I figured if we didn’t end up using it, I would wear it to a Modernism Week party. But then it rained the whole week + seeing as I hadn’t gotten the dress hemmed yet, it didn’t get to make an appearance.

It is definitely a splurge, but it was/is 60% off, and I will be prepared next time a fancy event rolls around. Oscar, call me!

PINK DRESSES AT THE OSCARS

Really though, there were SO many beautiful pink dresses at the Oscars last night. You can see all of my favorite dresses from the Oscars on my Stories.

I loved Angela Bassett’s pink gown by Reem Acra, who happens to be the same designer of the gown I’m wearing here. Also, how amazing is Helen Mirren’s rainbow pink dress by Schiaparelli? Sarah Paulson’s pink dress by Brando Maxwell is chic and cool. And I love Kacey Musgraves’ cotton candy pink tulle dress by Giambattista Valli.

And let’s not forget Julia Roberts looking RADIANT in her pink Oscars dress.
