How was your weekend? We had the best time at our awards show viewing party celebrating the #bestfeelings with Glade and I’d love to share the photos, decor details and what I wore…

The party was held at Sunset Tower Hotel, one of my (and Rachel Zoe’s!) favorite spots in all of LA. Located on Sunset Boulevard and with a rich Hollywood history of its own, it was the perfect spot to celebrate Tinseltown.

Of course, what’s an awards show viewing party without a red carpet? It doubles as both decor and entertainment, as proven by all the fun we had striking a pose — plus it naturally went with the evening’s theme – Hollywood and sharing the #bestfeelings in the world, in light of the new Glade campaign which debuted last night.

How cute are Grasie and Amelia glamming and hamming it up on the red carpet?

The red carpet was framed by beautiful bouquets of roses in a rainbow of happy hues and the carpet itself was strewn with red rose petals.

And the rose petals became inadvertent accessories, which I would find out after Laurie took this picture of my rose-adorned shoes. Happy accidents!

It was fun to pose on the red carpet while also watching the red carpet. Did you have any favorites?

I wore a vintage dress from my absolute favorite vintage clothing store The Fine Art of Design.

Isn’t the beading insane?

I accessorized with a Trina Turk cocktail ring and added a pop of color to my black-and-white look with coral pumps from JustFab.

Black and white ended up being a big trend of the night, as it was seen on Shauna, Sheryl, Sydne and An, too.

And we also played some awards-themed games and had some fun giveaways too. While everyone left with a fab gift bag from Glade, Jenny was the grand prize winner of the night leaving with a gift card to the Sunset Tower and, in light of the theme of the night, a gift card for flowers for a year…Congrats Jenny!

We enjoyed delicious passed appetizers and cocktails while watching the red carpet — my favorite was the signature Smell the Roses, a blend of vodka, cranberry, triple sec and lime juice topped with a rose petal to highlight the correlation between scent and the best feelings in the world. Once the show began, we had a buffet of chicken, salmon, salad, macaroni and cheese and more goodies guests could help themselves to as they desired throughout the night. (photo by Sydne)

We also played fun games like awards show bingo to see who could predict the most winners, which made the evening more interactive — especially with our competitive crowd! (photo by Laurie)

The venue was gorgeous on its own but we added fun elements such as beautiful and vibrant floral arrangements full of huge roses, a fun red carpet and of course Glade candles dotting tables and lining the pool to make the room smell great and add ambience! (photo from the fabulous Gray Malin)

We also enjoyed specialty cocktails whose names were inspired by the evening’s nominees.

It was a glittering night and I’d like to thank Glade for sponsoring the festivities and inspiring and celebrating the best feelings in the world. It was an evening of laughs, friends, smiles and a few surprises– everything came together beautifully.
