Traditional Home invited me to deck the halls so I’m sharing my tips and tricks for creating a stylish Christmas with Frontgate. Spoiler alert: expect lots of bubblegum pink ornaments + Palm Springs-infused decor! Check out the video below + where to get pink Christmas ornaments and candy-colored Christmas ornaments!
Note: Many of these items have since sold out. I have linked similar ornaments and products for your shopping pleasure. Enjoy!
Inspiration started with Slim Aarons, Audrey Hepburn, and the colorful doors of Palm Springs.
It’s no surprise how much I love the candy-colored doors of Palm Springs.
And Slim Aarons and Audrey Hepburn are my forever inspirations.
So it only seemed fitting that they be my jumping off point when it came to decorating for Christmas!
When I spotted these candy-colored ornaments, it was a no-brainer what my color palette would be!

I am a big fan of white, gold and happy Palm Springs hues like pink, yellow and aqua, so it made perfect sense that that would be my holiday palette.
Tip: Make your own rules and don’t be afraid to think beyond red and green!
I also had fun mixing motifs I love with my holiday decor: tropical leaves, pineapples, palm fronds, Greek key.
Marrying palms to pines feels unexpected, yet makes total sense in Palm Springs where from the palm tree-lined streets, we see the snow-covered mountain in the distance.
And why shouldn’t you have a palm frond wreath?
Pines shouldn’t have all the fun.
Plus, these wreaths could stay up year-round!
Don’t be afraid to shake things up!
The only rule…
There are no rules!
It’s Christmas — have fun!

I also extended the palette to my dining room, where white, gold and blue set the scene.
I love how these napkin rings feel like giant cocktail rings and the scalloped edges of the placemats mimic the quatrefoil dining chairs.
Gold adds a glamorous touch, from the plates to the placemats to the gold flatware.
I hope you enjoyed a peek at my holiday decorating!
Are you inspired to get your holiday decorating on?

Thank you! Have a colorful holiday season!
That was wonderful Kelly. You’ve inspired me to think outside the box…it doesn’t always have to be red and green!!!
Happy Holidays!!!
Thank you, Liz! Merry (colorful) Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Oh how I love this! We live in Florida and we have an island style home so I find traditional holiday decor doesn’t work for us. This would all be perfect. Thanks so much for sharing and happy holidays.
