Happy Monday, my loves! Did you watch the Golden Globes last night? I can’t wait to share party pics from our Awards Show Party (coming soon!), but in the meantime, let’s chat about the evening’s best dressed, shall we?
Here are my Top 20 Golden Globes Best Dressed…
Starting with my absolute fave of the night, Jessica Alba. That poppy peach color stole the show. Not only did her Oscar de la Renta fit like a glove, but her furry clutch, sparkling necklace, perfectly sideswept hair and bright lip added up to one winning look. I also loved Lucy Liu’s unexpected Carolina Herrera gown, which was reminiscent of beautiful wallpaper. Such a surprise!
The other big showstopper of the night was Katharine McPhee in a sexy Theysken’s Theory gown. How incredible does she look? Also wearing black but with an irresistibly charming twist was Rachel Weisz in Louis Vuitton. Don’t you love her vintage-inspired polka dots?
Black was a big trend on the Golden Globes red carpet (then again, isn’t it always?), but these two ladies really stunned: Nicole Kidman looking better than ever in Alexander McQueen (love her relaxed waves, too) and Julianne Moore in black-and-white Tom Ford. What do you think?
Bringing the beads and lace, along with gobs of retro-chic were Emily Blunt in Michael Kors and Nicole Richie in lavender loveliness.
Speaking of lace, I loved Julianna Margulies’ Pucci dress for its ladylike charm. And while not exactly ladylike per se, Jennifer Lopez made a jaw-dropping statement in lace as well. Who else in Hollywood could get away with that Zuhair Murad gown (maybe Rihanna…maybe).
Looking breathtaking and ethereal, Amy Adams wowed in a blush Marchesa, while Kerry Washington delighted in Miu Miu. Do you love these looks?
Jennifer Lawrence kept her Dior Haute Couture from reading too princess-y with a modern golden belt and looked like the star she is, while Taylor Swift surprised by looking sexy and grown up in an aubergine Donna Karan Atelier gown. Take that Harry Styles (and watch out Michel J. Fox’s son!).
Truth be told, when I first spotted Sienna Miller on the red carpet, I thought What is she wearing?! And put some lipstick on. But the 60s-inspired look by Erdem and fresh-faced makeup kept growing on me and now seem quite refreshing. Do you agree? And while Marion Cotillard’s sunset Dior isn’t a total showstopper on its own, that modern gold belt and the fact that it’s on the stunning Marion Cotillard makes it a winning look in my book.
One of my favorite moments of the night was seeing Tina Fey walk out on stage to kick off the night’s festivities. She has never looked better and I hope she keeps up looks like this on the red carpet. Va va voom, Tina! It was also fun to see Kate Hudson in this black Alexander McQueen dress with gold accents.
Finally, mom-to-be Kristen Bell’s sweet vintage-inspired Jenny Packham really charmed, while Girls star Allison Williams looked beautiful in black, with just the perfect pop of peach on her lobes.
What do you think? Who gets your vote for Best Dressed at the Golden Globes?

Tina Fey stole the show and JLo’s dress was well done and surprisingly reserved for her. I hate to say it, but Kate Hudson has my vote as best dressed, though I don’t understand why that weird thing looks good (speaking about the dress).
LOVED Kerry Washington’s look. I do wish Amy Poehler’s suit from the red carpet made the cut, I thought she look so stunning and chic.
Tina Fey is getting better with age…but Jessica Alba gets my vote. She looked classy and beautiful.
I loved Kerri Washington’s look…flawless! I also thought Helen Mirren looked amazing – she rocked her Badgley Mischka dress and could compete in the hot department with women half her age. For the record, I’m 30, just thought I would add a woman from the mature category into the mix 🙂
I am in LOVE with Jennifer Lopez’s dress it’s stunning!

Love Jessica Alba’s dress but I really hate the clutch! Sienna looks fresh-faced and natural – showing that you don’t need to wear tons of makeup. And Amy Adams always looks classy and chic too! x
