Seeing Stripes at The Desert X Mirror House + My Coachella Plans

Clearly I have this thing for striped dresses. When I ordered this one, I also ordered this one at the same time. I planned to try them on and then choose my favorite and send the other back. I’m sure you know how this story ends.

I fell in love with them both and kept them both (see the other in this post) and basically wear one or the other every other day. They’re both just so easy and breezy and comfy and cute. Perfect for summer and this Palm Springs weather.

You could even wear them as cover-ups and if you’re Coachella bound, order them both stat.

I’m not one for crowds, so I’ll be celebrating Couch-ella with my girl Miss Kris, in which they will also come in handy. Our plan?

To lounge poolside during the day, then watch Golden Girls at night. And to never leave the house.

We party hard.

But if you are out in the desert for Coachella or Couch-ella or Easter or just to see the super bloom, I would recommend checking out Desert X while you’re at it.

Desert X is a series of public art installations throughout the desert, including the Mirror House you see here in the distance, titled Mirage by artist Doug Aitken.

The installations will only be up through April 30th and they’re free to see.
