Birthdays. It’s no secret I love mine. Like love, love, love as in celebrate it the entire month of April (do you do that, too?). It’s the one day of the year you can have your cake and eat it too (literally). It conjures up memories of childhood parties, cupcakes, pure warm-hearted sugar-fueled nostalgia. Here, a few things I’m sweet on these days. I’d love to know how you like to celebrate YOUR birthday and what’s on your fantasy wishlist?
[above l-r: Emersonmade bud — what’s better than flowers that never wilt?; dreamy vintage typewriter — for writing the great American novella-lala and love letters; Bella Cupcake Couture wrappers — to make the yummiest cupcakes the prettiest, too; Kate Spade Molly pumps — to feel like I’m at a party every time I slip them on…]
[Stripes Large Bow Cloche — — for the perfect getaway to Giraffe Manor; Ray-Ban Retro Cat Eye Sunglasses
–because it’s never advised to make eye contact with a lion on your African safari; Haute Safari Dress
— because it’s just so easy breezy; Steamline Luggage The Producer Overnighter — since I live out of a suitcase, it might as well look like this…]
[Can’t Stop Smiling Dress
— so I’ll be ready to do the polka; Kate Spade Must Love Dots Griffen Tote
–because seeing spots is normal, right?; Kara Janx Bailey Polka Dot Dress — because it’s the perfect, happiest party dress ever; Kate Spade Naomi Flats
–for daytime frolicking…]
[Thread Social Navy Seersucker Romper — so I’ll be ready for Romper Room!; Capezio Studded Ballet Slippers — to make my urban ballerina fantasies come true; Emersonmade Dahlia Bouquet — oh, pretty pretty pretty; Kelsi Dagger Monroe Sandals — they feel so Loeffler Randall…]
[J.Crew Luxe Terry Un-Sweatpant — because on the wearing chic designery sweatpants outside of the gym controversy, I vote yes!; Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang–because a good read and a good laugh are all a girl really needs; Pins and Needles Chambray Bow Skirt — because my entire wardrobe at the moment consists of dresses, one pair or shorts and one pair of jeans and this would help increase my bottom line, playfully; Seychelles Gypsy Sandlas
–because it’s the perfect go-with-everything shoe; Soft Pastels — because I can’t wait to indulge my artistic fantasies in the desert…]
[Zebra Pinata — the perfect party centerpiece…playful and glamorous… wouldn’t it be fun to fill it with cocktail rings?!; Tote Graphic Tote Bag – insanely clever and cute, it would be the perfect daytime companion; Maison Martin Margiela Candy Clutch — because a girl needs the perfect evening companion too and this one would satisfy my sweet tooth; Pink Flamingos — because I’ve always wanted a few to keep me company poolside…]
Now, let’s hear YOUR fantasies, my darlings…
