It was the best of times, it was the worst of time It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. 2016 was the year I learned the best & worst can happen at the same time… And that too much of a good thing happening all at the same time is not always the best (buying our house, shooting magazine covers & lookbooks, a book deal, launching a fine art collection, our home becoming the Modernism Week Show House…). And that nothing really matters if you don’t have your health (but the pictures are pretty, right?). 😉 While creatively, professionally & personally things were super exciting in a dream come true way, my health (mental & physical) was failing me. Can you tell by the look in my eyes in that second to last photo? I can & that was right before a major breakdown in which I became agoraphobic and couldn’t leave the house for months — fun! First learning I most likely had Celiac…and guess what? TEN years later, I was just officially diagnosed. Anyway, grateful for it all & will link the blog post of 2016 highlights in stories & here if you want to know more. Thank you for being along for the ride & for all of the support.
