Ah, the quest for the perfect winter boots. Long-hunted and now, finally found!

Finding boots that are comfortable and cute is always a challenge. It’s normally an either or proposition. Like you’re either pretty or smart. I jest…sort of.

And I’ll fully admit when Vogue offered to send me these boots (thanks Anna, call me!), I thought they’re way too cute to be comfortable. Even as I slipped them on I thought, yep, these are strictly going-out boots. But then, three seconds after they were zipped and I stood up, I uttered three little words I usually avoid saying at all costs: I was wrong. These boots are insanely comfortable! Yes, even with that heel. I’ve never had UGG boots so now I see what all the fuss is about. That said, I didn’t expect a version with heels to be comfortable, but I’ve never been happier to be wrong. And am fully planning my apres-ski outfits around these when we head to Tahoe over Christmas (emphasis on apres, as I’ll skip the ski, thankyouverymuch).

Have you tried Uggs? I told Fred Baby they’re like walking on a cloud and I might need to get another pair…you know, for variety.
