A Romp In the Desert

The lovely folks at Rieley sent me this cute romper that I was looking forward to wearing in Australia’s summer last month, but sadly we didn’t have enough warm, sunny days to make that happen (although I did get to twirl around in this Rieley dress). Luckily, this past weekend in Palm Springs felt like summer with bright blue skies and 80-degree temps (sorry East Coast friends!), so we went for a romp in the desert and this Rieley romper proved the perfect companion.

Here is how I wore it…

I added a navy Splendid tank underneath (which has quickly become my fave, as it is soft as butter) to counteract the romper’s low cut, but it would be equally cute with a bandeau top on the beach.

Some sparkly arm candy, a sweet vintage owl necklace, along with bubblegum pink wedges, a swipe of coral on my lips, some retro-flair shades, and this colorblock bag I picked up in Melbourne, and I was ready for desert adventures.

I love the playful ease of a romper and this one’s cool blue hues complemented the desert sky. I know it’s January, but am I the only one who’s ready for summer already?
