The #1 question I get asked is: Where to stay in Palm Springs. Especially with Modernism Week coming up (will I see you there?)! While Palm Springs is full of fabulous boutique hotels, of which I’ve shared my favorites with
Architectural Digest and Real Simple in the past, the one thing I would highly recommend if you can is to rent a house.

There’s no better way to live the Palm Springs dream than by actually living like a local. I shared a peek at my stay at The Lawrence at Old Las Palmas vacation rental through Acme House Co. here and here, and today I’d love to share some more pics.

I mean, how can you beat having an entire pool to yourself?

Spectacular Palm Springs decor? This one in particular by one of the world’s top designers, Martyn Lawrence-Bullard.

Your own outdoor kitchen, bocce ball court, fire pit, and hot tub?

And the grooviest place to have sweet dreams?

Not to mention, a glamourous bathroom with an outdoor tub?

On our very first trip to Palm Springs, many moons ago on a cross-country roadtrip, we actually stayed the week at a
vacation renal house by Acme House Co.

I vividly remember cranking the heated pool up to 90 degrees in January and thought It doesn’t get better than this.

And guess what?

I was right.

If you have the chance, I couldn’t recommend renting a vacation house in Palm Springs more.

And The Lawrence at Old Las Palmas is a literal Palm Springs dream come true.
You can see more photos of The Lawrence at Old Las Palmas and book a stay here.
