Confession: Many of the outfits I wear and share here aren’t always what I’d be wearing in a particular environment (for instance, I don’t normally explore the desert in these shoes). You’re more likely to find me in flats or boots if I’m running around town, but those don’t always translate the best in photographs (what can I say, we petite girls need the extra lengthening effects that heels provide). This outfit, however, is exactly what I was wearing for a Sunday hike in Palm Springs, hence the hat (Sunday has become named No-Makeup Sunday in our house — Fred Baby loves not having to put on his false eyelashes!). Luckily, baseball caps are making a comeback.
