I’ve been going down a shopping rabbit hole lately as we gear up for Modernism Week here in Palm Springs. And boy have I found some gems! So I wanted to share them here with you in case you were looking for a statement dress to wear to a special event, whether it’s a wedding, a charity ball, or Modernism Week, you are sure to be the Best Dressed Guest with these 50 Best Statement Dresses right now!

My Favorite Statement Dress

I ended up buying this silver long-sleeve sequin dress with feathers and love it! It’s shimmery, sophisticated and playful all at once. And the feather-trim detail is so fun! It’s still quite cool in the evenings here in the desert, so I’m happy to have covered arms and legs.

Sizing Tips:

This Nicole Bathie x Antonio Melani sequin dress is available in sizes 0-14 and comes in silver and black.

I would say the fit is TTS. I’m normally a 2 in dresses and went with the 2. It has an adjustable belt and fits perfectly (though I’ll likely be loosening that belt during dinner – haha).

It’s on Major Sale!

 It’s also on major sale, marked down from $349 to $122, so now’s the time to scoop it up! The quality is there for being $349, so it is a deal at under $125. I am pondering getting the black one too…

How I’m Accessorizing It

I got these sparkly pearl-trimmed glitter heels to go with it, which are surprisingly comfortable and a major score on sale for only $44 (originally $129). I don’t normally do stilettos anymore, but these are comfy so far (to be fair, I’ve only tried them on in my carpeted cloffice, so we’ll see after I wear everything on Saturday night). They have a lightly padded footbed though, so I am hopeful!

I scooped up these vintage-inspired earrings too (originally $128, now $44). I have a very similar vintage pair, but somehow misplaced one of the earrings and was so sad because I wore them more than any others. So hoping these become their replacement.
