One of the most common questions people ask me (other than How do you eat all that food you post on Instagram and not weigh 500 pounds?) is How do you start a blog?
My answer below…
Seeing that most people don’t have the time for the hours-long answer, I normally channel my inner Nike and reply with: Just do it. Which I stand by, but understandably leaves many yearning for more. Luckily, my friend and infinite inspiration, Joy Cho, has written the bible on blogging: Blog, Inc.
A step-by-step guide to blogging for passion, profit, and to create community, Blog, Inc. is a must-have for anyone interested in starting a blog as a hobby or as a business. I’ve been blogging for more years than I can even remember and even I learned new things in this definitive guide to blogging.
Clear, informative, honest, you can pick up your copy of Blog, Inc. here.
p.s. If you’re in LA, come out to the book signing at West Elm tonight! I’ll be the one by the cupcakes.
