How gloriously exuberant is this picture of the Jazz-Age Dance Party on Governors Island in New York City? Doesn’t it make you want to throw a Great Gatsby lawn party pronto? Where you can dance on table tops and swing from chandeliers? I’ve never been to Governors Island, but have been wanting to go. In the summer, they open it up for biking (no cars – yay!) and all sorts of great events like the Jazz-Age Dance Party. Want to go? Life is for the living, for the taking, for the merry-making.
