I just finished reading The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life by Ivanka Trump and was impressed by the hardworking heiress with a brain that you won’t find dancing on tabletops. The former model/current Trump VP talks about her latest venture into the world of diamonds and jewelry, so I had to take a peek at her Madison Avenue store. Wow. Inspired by Art Deco and her favorite color, coral, the atmosphere is very boudoir, romantic and chic.
I’m not sure who the designer was, but it looks very Kelly Wearstler (my favorite interior designer), don’t you think? Hollywood Regency with bold pops of colors and a feminine touch.
Ivanka’s goal? To create the opposite of the traditional mausoleum feel of most old school jewelry stores. Which is exactly what I loathe about most jewelry stores. Bravo.
This is pretty much what my dream house would look like. What do you think? Have you seen the Ivanka Trump store in person? Do you love it too?
Oh, and let’s not forget the jewels. There are many Art Deco pieces (namely the ear candy) that I wouldn’t mind adding to my jewelry box. Take a peek at the collection here.

That store looks fantastic. Much better than anything I expected from a Trump (sorry Donald). I’ll have to check it out next time I am in NYC!
Lovely! A lot more women “appropriate” than the snob & manly other high end jewelry stores. Can’t wait to visit it.
It does look lovely, however I can’t see much jewelry in there 🙂 Is it modern or antique jewelry? I’m guessing modern, but thought I’d check.
