Let’s talk denim shorts. 

Maybe it’s just me, but what should be one of the most comfortable pieces in our wardrobe inevitably creeps and crawls into unmentionable places and I spend my day either playing tug of war or unbuttoning my shorts after every meal (TMI…sorry, but it’s true). So when I discovered these jean shorts, which are at once a more polished version and a more comfortable version of jorts (such a funny word mash-up), I was over the moon.

They’re essentially denim track shorts and people stop me and ask me about them all the time, like on the streets of New York yesterday, and even at Trina Turk’s Memorial Day cocktail party a few weeks back. They’re comfy, cute and versatile — dress them up with a blazer and heels or go casual in flip flops and a tee. If you’re anything like me, you will live in them all summer — these puppies are always in my suitcase and have seen the streets of Capri, Palm Springs, LA and New York in barely a month (they really get around!).
